Citizens for an Open and Responsible Edgewood

In an emergency hearing, requested by attorneys for John Bassett and the Town of Edgewood, Judge Maria Sanchez-Gagne again upheld the default and summary judgements against John Bassett and Town of Edgewood on October 14 and 15 , respectively. She further added the town is to be run by the remaining members of the governing body.

There have been a number of motions, pleadings, and hearings stemming from a lawsuit filed against Bassett and the Town by three Edgewood residents.
