Electing 5 Commissioners – an historic election
On November 2, 2021, Edgewood voters will cast their ballots in an historic election. With the change of government to Commission-Manager, citizens will select town leaders for all five commission seats at once. This has not happened since the town was first incorporated in 1999, making this an exceptionally important election. Following the election, in order to establish staggered terms, a game of chance will determine which commissioners will initially serve 2 year terms and who will serve 4 year terms.
CORE believes the wisdom and interest of Edgewood voters will now take this town in a better, more responsible direction. As such, CORE does not feel a need to officially endorse any candidate or candidates in this election. However, we will continue our effort to bring valuable, honest information to Edgewood citizens.
The following individuals have declared their candidacy for the 2021 election. In the spirit of bringing useful information to citizens, videos are available of all candidates who chose to attend an 8/4/21 Candidate Conference to introduce themselves to the community and discuss their thoughts on Edgewood’s needs and issues.

Since 2019, CORE has worked hard to bring valuable information to the citizens of Edgewood, exposing incidents of malfeasance and keeping the pubic informed on what was happening to our town. Our hope is for an Edgewood Town Commission that values and supports openness, transparency, fiscal responsibility, integrity, and public participation. Electing those commissioners is up to you, the citizens of Edgewood.
