Not a single new road has been paved during Bassett’s reign. In fact, the only paving activity was the result of the unannounced tearing up of a previously paved portion of Horton Road. - “Less Money on Lawyers”
Under Bassett, the town has spent $100,000 (so far) on legal fees in a hostile attempt to takeover EPCOR Water, with significantly more expense to come. The mayor is also being sued for malfeasance in office and misuse of public funds. Read: Edgewood Group Sues Mayor
