ORDER FOR DEFAULT JUDGMENT
AGAINST DEFENDANT JOHN BASSSETT AND DEFENDANT GOVERNING BODY FOR THE TOWN OF EDGEWOOD

THIS MATTER having come before the Court on Plaintiffs’ Motion for Default
Judgment against Defendant John Bassett and Defendant Governing Body for the Town of Edgewood, filed October 8, 2020, for failure to appear, plead, or otherwise defend against the allegations and causes of action in Plaintiffs’ First Amended Complaint;

THE CLERK OF THE COURT having issued a Certificate as to the State of the Record, filed October 5, 2020, reciting that neither Defendant John Bassett nor Defendant Governing Body for the Town of Edgewood has entered any appearance or filed any responsive pleading in this action;

THE COURT being fully advised in the premise of the motion, and finding good grounds therefor;

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:

1. Judgment by default is entered against Defendant John Bassett as to Count 1 (Quo Warranto), Count 2 (Declaratory Judgment), Count 4 (Fraud), and Count 6 (Violation of the Fraud Against Taxpayers Act) of Plaintiffs’ First Amended
Complaint;

2. Judgment by default is entered against Defendant Governing Body for the Town of Edgewood as to Count 3 (Writ of Mandamus) of Plaintiffs’ First Amended Complaint.
