Edgewood Violated Open Meetings Act
The Attorney General’s office looked into mishandling of public agendas and concluded that the Town of Edgewood violated the Open Meetings Act of the State of New Mexico on numerous occasions. The Attorney General’s office advised immediate compliance with Open Meetings Act regulations (aka “Sunshine Laws” intended to keep government operations and decision-making processes open to the public and ‘out in the light’).
